The Scenic Route aims to provide a range of platforms to give musical theatre writers an opportunity to have their work seen and developed.
Cabarets
We regularly host cabarets where new work can be showcased at any stage of its development.

Masterclasses and Workshops
A calendar of regular events is planned from Autumn 2010.
Content of workshops will include musical theatre composition, storytelling through music, musical performance, script development, and much more.
Opportunities will be available to work with not only established composers, but also professional storytellers, fight directors and choreographers to introduce alternative approaches to developing musical theatre.

Submissions
Feel free to send us new work to have a read of as and when. We are always on the look out for wonderful new works and new writers. Please bear with us if it takes a while though as we can often be inundated.
